Job Description:




INSTALLER

Under the direction of the Managing Director, Perimeter Protection the Installer assists in the installation of protective shutters, impact windows & doors, screens, laminates and other perimeter products. This is not an entry level position. Specifications of the role include:
General duties and responsibilities:
1. Installing and testing a variety of protective products
2. Delivery of products to sites
3. Cleaning and proper care of tools
4. Troubleshooting problems
5. Executing routine inspections and maintenance on perimeter protection products
6. Complying with all rules and regulations of The Security Centre Ltd. as well as those of the clients; and executing duties in accordance with the Company’s Rules & Regulations
7. Performing other duties as assigned by the Management Team.
Qualifications / Experience:
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in basic carpentry preferably in the installation of windows and doors
2. High school leaving certificate
3. Ability to work on own initiative
4. Proficiency in use a variety of manual and power tools
5. Ability to read blue prints
6. Clean driver’s license
Requirements: Applicants must exhibit a clean, tidy and neat appearance at all times. Must be professional, pleasant and courteous, as well as self-disciplined and mature. Travel to the Sister Islands may be necessary.
A clean police record and drivers license is required.
The successful applicant will receive health insurance, pension, two weeks’ paid vacation and uniform /equipment.
Salary range is KYD10.00 to KYD12.00 per hour commensurate with experience and abilities.
